To ensure a smooth and efficient tattooing process, a detailed deposit policy is in place for booking and securing appointments:
Deposit Requirement: Each appointment requires a $500 deposit. This deposit is applied toward the final cost of your tattoo, effectively reserving your spot and guaranteeing your scheduled day and time. This upfront commitment helps in managing the studio’s schedule efficiently and ensures that each client receives the dedicated time they deserve.
Multiple Appointments: For clients with large projects that require multiple sessions, a separate $500 deposit is required for each individual booking. This is crucial for planning and allocating the necessary resources and time slots across multiple dates. It’s important to note that deposits cannot be combined or transferred between appointments; each deposit secures a specific session.
Non-Refundable Deposit: The deposit is non-refundable under several conditions, designed to encourage commitment and respect for the scheduling process:
- No-Show: If you fail to show up for your scheduled appointment without any prior notification, the deposit will be forfeited. This compensates for the time that was set aside for your session.
- Cancellation: Deposits will be forfeited upon cancellation at any time. This policy is in place to mitigate the impact of last-minute cancellations on the studio’s operations.
- Insufficient Notice for Rescheduling: If you need to reschedule your appointment, at least 72 hours’ notice is required. Failure to provide adequate notice will result in the forfeiture of your deposit. This time frame allows the studio to possibly fill the newly available slot.
- Frequent Rescheduling: Rescheduling two or more sessions for the same tattoo, regardless of notice given, may also lead to forfeiture of the deposit. This policy helps prevent disruptions in the tattooing schedule and planning.
- Late Arrivals: Arriving more than 40 minutes late to your appointment without prior communication can result in deposit forfeiture. If you anticipate being late, please call ahead, even if it’s just a minute after your scheduled time, so appropriate adjustments can be made.
- Intoxication: Arriving intoxicated is strictly prohibited, as it can affect your ability to consent and the quality of the tattooing process. Even minor intoxication is unacceptable and will result in the loss of your deposit and cancellation of the appointment.
- Accompanying Minors: Bringing a minor child to your appointment is not allowed. The tattoo studio is not a safe environment for children, and as you will be unable to attend to them while being tattooed, this could pose safety risks.
- Lack of Proper Identification: Proper identification must be presented at the time of your appointment. Failure to do so will prevent the session from proceeding and result in the forfeiture of your deposit.
